Minute 200 / Minut 200

Synopsis:
Orfa, una solitaria anciana, recibe un día un paquete de correo que contiene una carta y un teléfono móvil, enviados por su único hijo a quien no ve hace mucho tiempo. En la carta el hijo le cuenta que no podrá visitarla y que ella tendrá que subsistir vendiendo minutos de llamada. En su casa de pueblo y sin muchas esperanzas, Orfa esperará la llegada de la muerte mientras se termina el saldo del teléfono, rechazando lo que podría ser su última oportunidad de tener compañia.

Seventy-five year-old Orfa is sent a mobile phone and a letter by her son, who is unable to visit her. Resignedly, Orfa starts to sell off the 200 minutes that are on her mobile, putting the money towards the cost of her funeral. 200 Minutes is a poetic and melancholic reflection both on time and our inability to live life to the fullest in the company of those we love. The dazzling Orfa is resplendent in her beauty, while her neighbour and sprightly contemporary nourishes an affectionate wit.

Orfa, una solitària anciana, rep un dia un paquet de correu que conté una carta i un telèfon mòbil, enviats pel seu únic fill a qui no veu fa molt de temps. A la carta el fill li explica que no podrà visitar-la i que ella haurà de subsistir venent minuts de trucada. A la seva casa de poble i sense moltes esperances, Orfa esperarà l'arribada de la mort mentre s'esgota el saldo del telèfon, rebutjant el que podria ser la seva última oportunitat de tenir companyia.
